Holders of RNCP certificates are members of a legally constituted Not for profit Association. They have the right to provide educational information to their clients about diet and nutritional support for building and maintaining nutritional well-being. They are not permitted to diagnose or prescribe for illness of any kind. All RNCP's must sign a detailed pledge agreeing to perform only those acts which are appropriate to the profession of nutritional consulting. The ROHP certificate issued is the property of IONC. It can be revoked for malpractice, for performing unauthorized medical acts (at the discretion of the Disciplinary Committee of IONC), or when registration ceases.
